It was in 2022 that HUEMN’s ‘Blood’ Collection first debuted. Our Co-founder & Creative Director Pranav Kirti’s father passed away in 2018: HUEMN’s Blood was the consequence of this grief among other afflictions of this world.  

As we’ve often said, it was inspired by the reality of life and death. A chasm where words of the Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke live too: "Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final."

Each blood-washed piece you come across is one-of-one, as no two pieces look alike. A Signature HUEMN 7-Step wash routine helps achieve the surface finish: techniques developed over many months. This piece takes that blood and turns into a hand-embroidered motif.
